Microcement is super-strong yet extremely lightweight, its highly flexible and crack resistant and only 3mm thick. Completely seamless with no joins meaning its extremely hygienic and easy to clean.
Microcement can be applied over existing tiles, ceramics, concretes, marbles, plasterboard, woods and most solid surfaces. Quite often the existing tiles or substrates can remain in place saving on time, mess and the waste removal.

What is Microcement?
Microcement process
Microcement or Microcemento as it commonly known in Europe, is a very fine coating of cement, combined with fine aggregates and quartz powder and then mixed with water based liquid resin polymers. Its extremely flexible, does not shrink or crack and its super strong and scratch resistant. It can adhere to most solid surfaces including tiles, ceramics, stones, concretes, plasterboards and most woods.
Its applied in very thin layers, similar to plaster skimming but the microcement layers are only 1mm thick. We apply 2 coats of base and 2 coats of finish, each coat takes around 6 hours to dry before the next one is applied. The base coats are coarser and have grit and fibre added into them for strength and then the 2 finish coats are like yoghurt, very smooth and easy to apply.
Once the microcement has dried, its coated in our solvent free, Aliphatic propolymer polyuerethane varnish for surface protection, available in a gloss, satin or matte finish.
Standard &
Textured System
Suitable for interior walls and floors. Bedrooms, hallways, living rooms, stairs, tables & furniture.
Consists of 2 layers of base coat and 2 layers of top coat. Available in smooth and textured finishes.
Waterproof
System
Suitable for interior and exterior applications. This product is used where any water may (lay down) for a specific amount of time. For example; walk-in showers, wet-rooms, exterior floors, paths, patios and pool surrounds.
High Transit
System
Suitable for areas with high volumes of foot traffic. For example, shops, restaurants, retail, show-rooms, hotels, schools and offices.
This system uses selective aggregates which provide superficial hardness making it suitable for commercial use.
Swimming Pool
System
Swimming pool microcement is made differently from other microcements.
It has hydrophobic properties in the product itself which makes it suitable for the high compression of the retained water and its completely resistant to scratches and corrosive chemicals.
